1915 Aug 28. Posted to 11th Battalion and Expeditionary Force Mediterranean

1915 Dec 2. Admitted to hospital with rhumatism at Mudros

1916 Jan 24. Posted to depot. Returned to UK on "Aquitania"

1916 Mar 3. Given 9 days laeve in Cavan

1916 Mar 13. Posted to 3rd Battalion

1916 Jul 14. Posted to 2nd Battalion. Arrives at Boulogne

1917 Nov 12 Transferred to 291 Labour Corps

1919 Jan 30 Discharged and in Military Hospital Curragh

1919 Feb 13. Died of TB, age 48 and single. His cousin is Miss Kate Curren of Main St, Arva, Co Cavan (he says that she is his only living relative)
